Having both the architect and contractor working with one another allows for a very open line of communication, which in turn heads off problems before they become problems. The contractor has full responsibility of the design and construction of the project. Design Build allows for cost estimates to be completed early on in the design process. This allows the Owner and contractor to collaborate on overall project costs and make adjustments where needed.
